Preschool (3 years-5 years)

The preschool program offers a full-day curriculum, which combines early childhood learning with daily activities such as outside play and meals and snacks. Parents can drop off their children before work and pick them up after, with the confidence that Lit'l Scholar's expertly trained and nurturing teachers approach each daily activity as an opportunity for children to learn and explore.

Specifically tailored for the developmental stages of each child, the preschool curriculum prepares students for their elementary school experience by introducing such academic skills as early literacy and writing, in a hands-on learning environment. The curriculum introduces academic subjects and promotes learning through a weekly theme, which children explore through stories, art projects, group and individual play, games, and other developmentally stimulating and appropriate activities.

Our Pre-Kindergarten classes use a phonics-based curriculum called Sing, Spell Read and Write published by Modern Curriculum Press.

Programs are available throughout the year for two, three or five days per week.
